Early one morning last week, I was praying and asking God for strength and peace for my community; the immigrant, the refugee, the hurting, the sick, the addict, the grieving, this world….

Myself

I heard His voice and I knew it was Him…

“My eye is on the sparrow”

I thanked God.
I believe that is true.

I have been drawn to pictures of a bird on a wire lately, so I decided to take a old shutter and paint it, to remind me that God’s eye is upon me, my children, my fellow brothers and sisters that are all around the world and in Heaven

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows” Matthew 10:29-31
