“Let us therefore draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help us in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16. This scripture has brought me a lot of hope when I am praying for someone or something pressing

But this week, I heard it a little differently which caused me ask myself a few questions, “Can Jesus come boldly to the throne room of my life at anytime? Am I fully available for Him or is my schedule too full?

As believers, we are to be His dwelling place- His home…. but is there room for Him?

Does He need to knock first to see if it’s a good time? Would He need to turn His head or step out? Does He feel ignored when He is there? Is He an occasional invited guest when I need something?

Makes me think of Mary and Joseph, who were about to give birth. They were knocking on doors, asking anyone and everyone, for a room…. any room. The son of God, the saviour of the world was about to be born.

Sorry…No rooms available.

Are we like the inns that were all too full?

Jesus is crying out, ” Let me live through you! Let me bring MY kingdom to earth through you!”

He wants to use you to: heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, set captives free, comfort others, boldly share the good news of the gospel, encourage others, prophesy, bring His wisdom for the times (inflation, food shortages, housing crisis), miraculous provisions, feed and care for those in need and more!

I heard a great quote yesterday, “We are called to give the world a daily glimpse of Jesus.

How? Make your home, His home.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 16:25

And what an adventure it will be!
